What kind of church is The Gate?
The Gate is a life giving, non-denominational church made up of people of all ages and backgrounds.
Come as you are. Jeans and shorts are the norm.
A modern, casual atmosphere.
Great music that will inspire you for your journey.
Relevant messages from the Bible that will guide you on your journey.
It’s okay to disagree and to ask tough questions. That’s how we progress in our spiritual journey.
You’ll find love and acceptance at The Gate!
What should I expect when visiting The Gate?
Stepping into an unfamiliar church for the first time can be a little intimidating and maybe even uncomfortable. When you visit The Gate, you can expect to feel welcomed and accepted. If you’re visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. Instead you’ll find a comfortable atmosphere, dynamic worship experience, fun and safe environments for children, and the Gospel message delivered in a creative and relevant way.
What does The Gate have for my family?
The family is a huge priority at The Gate; therefore, we do all that we can to make sure your family is taken care of. We offer safe and fun Bible focused classes and activities that are age appropriate beginning with our nursery age children following through to high school.
In addition to our classes held during our normal Worship times, we also offer events like Sunday Funday for families with children 5th grade and below. We normally meet once a month on Sunday afternoon and have a blast! Whether it’s Sundae-Sunday when we enjoy ice-cream and games for the whole family or Dodgeball Bonanaza in the gym, our families have fun! Not only do we connect deeper with our own families, we connect deeper with each other’s families as well.
For tweens and teens that fall into 6th-12th grades, they meet Sunday's at 9a for our High Schoolers and 10:45a for our 6-8th Graders. In depth study time focusing on life’s tough issues like peer pressure and bullying, Merge’s focus is to help develop our teens into healthy adults that love and serve Jesus for a lifetime.
